My mother is unfortunate to suffer from schizophrenia (a mental illness that distorts reality)
This is the first time that my mother suffers from this condition, it had never happened to her before. We brought her to a hospital but she could not be cured. They gave her medication but after taking the medication, her condition got worse to the point that she refuse to take medication because she no longer believe that drugs could cure her.
My mother’s condition got so bad that she had to be hospitalized. Through a Vietnamese friend, we were introduced to Father Truong Buu Diep, and I prayed to Father Diep often to help my mother get well.
In September of 2015, when the hospital released my mother to go home, also with the advice of a Vietnamese friend, I took my mother to Father Diep Foundation and prayed for her. Only two weeks later, my mother’s condition improved dramatically.
The first time when I took my mother to visit Father Diep, I was a little bit scared because my mother had objected and acted irrationally. But we went anyway and we prayed for Father Diep to bless us and to cure my mother. We were frightened at first but then we felt very good about it later. I thought that perhaps through our faith in God, and our belief in Father Diep and the Saints that my mother’s mental illness can be cured, so we communed with everyone.
The most wonderful thing was that when my mother was cured, her faith in the Almighty became even stronger. We went with me back to Father Diep’s Foundation to thank him and to thank God for treating her. She believed that it was Father Diep’s communing with God on her behalf is what cured her.
She was also thankful to Truong Buu Diep Foundation and for all those who came to Prayer meetings to pray to Father Diep together. Thanks to Father Diep, through his blessings, my mother has recovered. We had just
taken her for a long trip to visit our relatives.
Daily Blessing
