Dinh, Thi Chau – London, England
I know of a 95 year old elderly woman. Before she passed away, she gave to me an old picture of Father Truong Buu Diep and said to me: “Hang on to this picture, when you are in crisis, or if you’ve lost something, pray to Father Diep, he will help you.” I thanked her and put the picture in my purse.
One day, my son bought a ticket to go to Spain with his friends and he had misplaced his passport. I searched all over with my son, we turned everything upside down but couldn’t find it. Suddenly, I remembered what the elderly woman had said to me and I took out Father Diep’s picture, and prayed for his help. Then I went to look over the places that I had looked before and found my son’s passport right away. That was the first time when Father Diep helped me. It came to pass, I thanked Father Diep.
Another time, I lost my purse. There were very important things in my purse. My daughter and I spent an entire day searching all over the house. We went back to the places that I had gone shopping to inquire about it, but no one had seen it. I was hopeless, then I thought of Father Diep. I took out his picture, not even praying over it, I just spoke to Father as if he was a real person in front of me: “Father Diep, please help me find that purse because if I can’t find it, I don’t know what I would do without all my things, my money, my documents, keys to the house and cars, all sorts of things. Please Father, help me…” Then my daughter and I went back over everything. Where we had not found the purse before, we found it after my prayer to Father Diep.
Most recently, on my trip to America, I brought with me an envelop full of money. I had not spent a dollar, but I misplaced the envelop somewhere and could not find it. My children helped me search but to no avail. I daughter reminded me to pray to Father Diep for his help. After I prayed, I suddenly remembered that I had went to a friend’s house and so I called them to see if I had left it there. To my surprise, my friend had indeed found my envelop full of money. This time I told my children to go to Father Diep’s Foundation on Euclid to thank Father Diep and to bear witness to his holiness.
Many of my friends, although they are not of the Catholic Faith, they all pray to Father Diep and was helped by him many times. This time when I come to America, they also told me to go thank Father Diep and to contribute to the Truong Buu Diep Foundation in order to help maintain its existence so that anyone seeking Father Diep’s help can go there and pray.
The work of the Truong Buu Diep Foundation has been extremely helpful to everyone.
Daily Blessing
