”Father Diep is a ‘Doctor in the Night” for my family”

Ms. Nguyen, Chau Sandy: My father’s name is Nguyen Van Lau, he is 88 years old. When I petitioned for my father’s sponsorship to the United States he was deathly ill and was admitted to the hospital three times. I went to Father Diep’s Foundation every day and prayed on my knees for Father Diep to help my father regain his health. The result was miraculous. On the day of his immigration interview in October 2015, he travelled from Con Tho to Saigon in good health, in good spirits and was granted a visa to the United States at his interview appointment. But when I purchased an airplane ticket for my father he had a relapse and the doctors would not let him travel long distance. I went back to ask Father Diep for his help to make my father better so he could travel to the United States. The next day I got a phone call informing me that his health has improved and the doctors cleared him for traveling. My father has since arrived in the US for three weeks now and today I bring him to Father Diep’s Foundation to bear witness for Father Diep.
During the entire time when I went to Father Diep’s Foundation to pray to him daily, he appeared to me in my dreams six to seven times in a row. Each time he would appear in his dark priest cloak, his countenance always cheerful. I believe that Father Diep loves us and have blessed my family.
Mr. Nguyen Van Lau: I am especially thankful to Father Diep because he has blessed me with good health so that I may travel to visit my children and grandchildren. When I went in for an interview, an American officer asked me why I was traveling to the United States, I said I wanted to visit my children. Then he asked me how long I planned to stay, I said one month. Then he said to me “Ok I will allow you to visit for one year”. When I was still in Vietnam, the environment was bad and I got sick all the time. I had high blood pressure, lung and heart disease and all manners of illness, but since I’ve arrived here (in the United States) I have been well.
