”If you don’t receive after one prayer, keep praying”

My younger sister live in Texas.  One day she called and told my husband that she had lung cancer.  Hearing this, we were very worried and ran to Father Diep’s Foundation on Euclid to cry to Father:  “Dear Father, my sister has a very dangerous condition, and this disease is so difficult to overcome.  Now I pray to Father Diep for your love and to love my sister and cure her of her disease.”

My sister was receiving medical treatment at Houston Hospital.  Two days went by, then one week, then two weeks, the cancerous cells got smaller and smaller according to the doctors’ test results.  There was a doctor of East Indian origin who was treating my sister.  He prescribed some herbal medicine and assisted my sister with her dietary regime.  I asked for Holy Water and a picture of Father Diep from the Foundation so that I can send to my sister.  I suggested that she made the sign of the Cross and only drink in small sips, praying as she drank.  My sister’s help gradually improved.  The treating physician said that he had treated cancer patients for many decades and he has never seen anyone take to the medicine as well as my sister had, and that she was recovering so well that surgery was not necessary.  My sister gained weight and her health improved better than before.  Truly my sister has been blessed by God, by Father Diep.

Each time when I went to the Foundation to pray, I also ask people who go there to pray to Father Diep so that my sister would get well.  It takes many people’s prayer, not any one person alone.

I watched on Television and saw one person who had a child with a broken arm due to a fall that required surgery the next day.  The child’s mother was praying to Father Diep, for him to come to the hospital and heal her child.  I saw her believing without seeing.  So as a Catholic, there was no reason for me not to believe in Father Diep.  God is everywhere, Mother Mary is everyone, regardless of whether we believe or not.  Some people never receive any blessings in all their life.  To me, if you pray but not believe, you will not receive anything.  What I mean is that we have to have faith.  If you don’t receive after one prayer, keep praying.  We have to have faith and we have to be patient.
